The Jewel Box Frequently Asked Questions
Welcome to The Jewel Box subscription FAQ’s! Isis Ella Jewels offers a quarterly subscription box filled with curated items to help you plan, journal and craft. This subscription auto-renews once you sign up! No need to sign up for every box unless your account is cancelled. Enrollment opens up once during the month prior to the shipment of the box. The announcement dates for opening will be posted on the home page of the website, in our Facebook group, through email notification for those on the waiting list and via Instagram.
What is the cost for my new bi-monthly box?
The Jewel Box is $35 USD every three months with a S&H fee of $8.88 USD pricing for subscribers. The shipping fee for Canadian subscribers is $16 and $22 for all other international subbers. You will be billed for your first box on the date you placed the order. All future boxes will be billed on the 15th every three months. Please note that for your box payment, PayPal balances and prepaid cards will not work. This is due to encrypting in store-bought cards that will not allow them to be used for transactions of a recurring nature, such as a box or monthly service. Please make sure you have a valid credit card/debit card attached to your PayPal account. No rewards or discounts can be applied to boxes. There are no refunds on boxes!
Can I checkout with additional items from the SHOP with my box to save on shipping?
When enrolling for the first time, please make sure there are no additional items besides the subscription in your cart! Any orders for boxes with additional shop items may result in cancellation.
What if I need to update my card or payment account?
If payment is not received by the 17th of the month, your box for the month is not guaranteed and/or reserved. Please make sure any payment issues are resolved by this date. Please note that any major changes to PayPal including switching PayPal accounts or switching from PayPal to a credit card will require a manual update. (You may switch your default cards within PayPal at anytime - this does not require action on our part) -- If you need assistance with extending your payment window or updating payment, please email us at info@thejewelbox.store.
When does the box ship?
I encourage you to read all FAQs in regards to subscription box prior to subscribing. This will make things easier as time goes by for shipping out the boxes the following month.
Shipping occurs the following month after signing up. It takes place during the last two weeks of that month. If there is any reason for any delay in shipment, subscribers will all be notified in advance through email. Please make sure that your mailing address is up to date. I am not responsible for your packages being shipped to an old address that is on file.
Customer is responsible for any updates in shipping address and billing information - you are able to update your shipping and billing information under your account under “manage subscription” This is a separate dashboard than your regular account - you must go into manage subscription to update -- however, if you change your address AFTER the 17th of the month when orders are created OR after your initial payment and order placement, you MUST contact customer support to ensure changes has been made.
What if my box returns to you?
All packages returned due to customer address entry error will be either refunded for the product price less shipping cost OR reshipped at buyer's expense.
Note -- if you are international and changing your address to domestic or vice versa, you must contact us at info@thejewelbox.store to have your shipping rate adjusted. We do ship to APO addresses.
What can I expect in the box?
Subscription box items do not follow a traditional template. I love to mix the box items up according to the theme of the box. You can count on pattern papers and stickers to always be in the box.
What do I do if I missed the enrollment?
If you missed out on signing up, please make sure to sign up on the waiting list below to have a chance at getting a spot for the next enrollment! I always go to the waiting list first before I open to the public. I will give you at least 24 hours to sign up to grab a spot before I open to the community.
What if I want to cancel after 1 box?
You may cancel your subscription no later than the 11th of the month when shipping is about to take place. Take a look at the shipping chart above to see when it is time to cancel your subscription box after you committed to 3 boxes. The cancellation is 3 days before payment is charged. If you do not cancel, you are considered apart of the next box rollout. After this point, your order will ship as scheduled and any cancellations will apply to the following month.
To cancel, please email your wish to cancel along with your name on the account and most recent order number to info@thejewelbox.store.
Please do not cancel via PayPal billing agreement as I am unable to reactivate your account and you will have to wait to re-enroll again if this is a mistake! You will have to commit to 3 boxes all over again.
If you love your box and wish to continue your subscription, by all means please continue.
**For all subscriptions - if you cancel after one month, you will be charged the $40 and shipping fee for your respective shipping location for standalone boxes. However, if you have gone at least 3 consecutive months without cancelling, you will be able to cancel penalty free before the 11th of the month.
**By subscribing, you agree to receiving communications about these events in addition to occasional surveys that are completely optional. You my unsubscribe to any mailing list at any time by scrolling down and selecting 'unsubscribe' from our email list service.
